Anne's Apology
Anne was happy to live in Green Gables. When she wasn't doing her chores, she explored the farm. Mrs. Lynde came to visit the orphan Anne. Mrs. Lynde was a woman who said everything what she thought. From on look Mrs. Lynde said about Anne that she is a skinny little thing with freckles and hair as red as carrot. Anne got terribly angry and her face turned red. She called Mrs. Lynde fat and clumsy. Mrs. Lynde was shocked from those words. She left Green Gables very mad.
Marilla found Anne on her bed, crying. Marilla started yelling Anne about her words. Anne must go apologize to her. Marilla gave Anne time till next day to think how to go to apologize to Mrs. Lynde. Anne cried all night. Matthew went to her room very quiet and whispered to apologize and to go over with this story. Anne really liked Matthew and just because he told her to do it, she was ready with her apology. She went to Mrs. Lynde's house. She walked in and got down on her knees at Mrs. Lynde's feet.
Mrs. Lynde forgive Anne and they promise to be friends from then on.
